We Remember Mama supports the continuation and growth of our Story Keeping Program. “But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begins.”― Mitch Albom This wonderful event gives our community an opportunity to celebrate our mothers and the women who help to raise us. You are warmly invited to “We Remember Mama” an elegant luncheon on the Friday before Mother’s Day. Together, we will toast our mothers with champagne and share cherished stories. This luncheon supports Hospice Savannah’s StoryKeeping Program, one of our Healing Arts, which gathers memories of life stories from our patients for their loved ones to cherish for generations to come. This year’s honored “Mama” is Elizabeth Oxnard. Our Story Keeper, Elizabeth Brodhead, will interview her, sharing family stories of her life as a mother and a beloved Savannah leader. This promises to be a touching and worthwhile interview Hospice Savannah needs your help now more than ever, to maintain this valuable and worthwhile program, which preserves our patients’ cherished memories and family stories for years to come.
