Beatitudes Campus is looking for a Full/Part Time Housekeeper This position is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day cleanliness of our facility in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Essential Functions Perform the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner Clean resident’s rooms as assigned Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units Clean, wash, sanitize bathrooms and fixtures Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner Keep supervisor informed of supply needs Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical Ability to work with the elderly Good written and verbal English skills Reliable transportation Must be available to work flexible hours and days Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Follows all established safety policies and procedures in the performance of work duties. Also, keeps work area(s) free of hazardous conditions. Promptly reports all identified problems or service concerns beyond scope of the job to the supervisor. Reports all unsafe or potentially hazardous situations to the supervisor immediately. Reports all accidents/incidents, no matter how minor, to the supervisor immediately. Attends and participates in all mandatory housekeeping/laundry staff meetings, on-the-job training programs, and all mandatory in-service programs. Understands and respects residents’ rights to privacy and self-determination. Performs other related duties as assigned.
