Description
I have two Catahoula Leopard dogs for rehoming. Lucy is the female tan and white dog and junior is the Merle dappled male. They are both 1 year and 7 months old. They are from the same litter and have been with our family since 3 weeks old. We have currently moved and downsized and have no room for these big babies. I would love for them to be re-homed together but I am willing for them to go separate ways to the right family. They have been socialized around middle aged children to teens and are very loyal companion dogs. They unfortunately have not been socialized to new environments or busy areas such as dog parks or pet stores but we are trying to get them more accustomed to changes. Catahoula’s are not an easy breed but they are very smart. They are both potty trained and know most basic commands (i.e. sit, shake, down, and stay). They just need space and attention to thrive as well as boundaries. They have done well in fenced in yards as well as invisible fencing. As of 4/4/2022 they have had their rabies, DALPP, heartworm tests, and proheart injections complete and up to date. Junior is good with any gender dogs but Lucy does better with other males and while both have been around small dogs they do better with medium to large breeds as they tend not to notice small dogs under their feet. The re-homing fee is $300 each or $500 for both. I want them to go to good families. Serious inquires only.
