Earth Day Clothing Swap from 7pm-9pm, $2 items after 9pm. Market 7pm-11pm. A Bug's Life screening from 9pm-11pm, BYO chair, blankets, drinks The Eco Eclectic clothing swap and local market aims to build a more conscious community by bringing together those who are committed to improving the health of our planet. We do this by swapping our clothes before we buy, shopping locally and sustainably, and networking with other rad people in Jacksonville The event is at Drive Fitness on Friday, April 22nd from 7pm-11pm. CLOTHING SWAP The swap will be from 7pm-9pm and all leftover clothing will be sold for $2 after 9pm, all proceeds benefitting GTM Research Reserve! The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve covers 76,760 acres of coastal lands in northeast Florida from Ponte Vedra Beach to Palm Coast. The GTM Research Reserve is one of 29 National Estuarine Research Reserves around the country that focuses on research, education, and stewardship. You may contribute up to 15 items. Swap= If you donate 10 items, you take 10 items at the event! Items include: Shirts, pants/shorts/skirts, handbags, belts, and shoes. All items must be in EXCELLENT condition, no stains, rips, etc. If you have any questions please contact us. Let us know if you would like to keep unaccepted items. Items must be dropped off prior to the event. Why? This gives us time to sort items and neatly organize all of the clothing prior to your arrival. If you are unable or unwilling to drop-off items prior, please select the "Day of Drop-off option" ($10), which allows you to bring items the day of the event, where my team can then sort and hang up items. TICKETS OPTIONS Drop-off: Free = First come first serve! Must drop-off items prior to the event. Drop-off: Pay in Person $5 = Pay in person when you drop-off items prior to the event. Day of Drop-off: $10 = Allows you to bring items the day of the event! All ticket sales go towards fundraising for an Eco Eclectic retail space at the beaches! By supporting this event, you are supporting our dream of providing more sustainable options in our community, thank you! DROP-OFFS 1) Please drop off items on the following Saturday's: April 9th and April 16th at the Eco Eclectic booth at the Beaches Green Market (Penman Park: 321 Penman Rd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250) from 10am-2pm. 2) Please drop off items on the following Sunday's: April 10th and April 17th at the Eco Eclectic booth at the Atlantic Beach Market (850 Seminole Rd, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233) from 10am-2pm. 3) If you're unable to make these times, please schedule a pick-up or drop-off by texting 904-200-9376, or select the "Day of Drop-off option" MARKET The market will be from 7pm-11pm. Featuring: Sustainable swimwear by Arcane, fresh pressed juices by Pure Life, sustainable products and refills by Eco Eclectic, and household plants by Reliving & Co. MOVIE We will be watching A Bug's Life on the big projector! Film starts at 9pm. Bring whatever you need! A chair, blanket, drinks, and snacks all allowed :) No need to purchase tickets if you're only attending the market + movie.
