Born in Boonsboro, Maryland on March 13th, 1937, Douglas Garns Bast was an exceptional person, and a prominent collector of rare antiquities. Commonly called Doug - or Dougie if you knew him well enough - Doug was something of a local legend. On Friday, January 14th, join us in welcoming Steve Recker for an exploration into the life, collection, and legacy of Doug Bast, who passed away in March 2021 after a battle with Parkinson’s.
