Description
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — HC DrugFree collected 43 bins of prescription and over-the-counter medications and 26 bins of sharps at their drug take-back event held in Wilde Lake recently. Add in the meds deposited in the police department's permanent boxes and that totals more than 1,300 pounds of unneeded and expired medications disposed of safely in a single day.
The Howard County Police Department reminds everyone that they do not have to wait for a drug take-back day. Unwanted medication can be disposed of any day of the year at a permanent drop-off location at three police locations and two community centers.
