Portion Of Sheppard Lane Closes Monday For Roadwork

CLARKSVILLE, MD — A portion of a developer's project to improve access to River Hill Square at 12171 MD 108 in Clarksville will begin on Monday, which involves a road closure. The work calls for the realignment of Sheppard Lane with MD 108 and the installation of a new traffic signal at the MD108/Sheppard Lane intersection. Weather permitting, the project will take three days to complete. Signs and flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic since northbound and southbound Sheppard Lane between 5450 Sheppard Lane and MD 108 will be closed to thru traffic during the work. Motorists will follow a clearly marked detour using Homewood Road and MD 108.
