I have a heavy, black, Great Dane/Rottweiler mix. (I have papers to prove.) Demi is extremely sweet and great with kids. She matches your energy level. If you’re relaxing, she’s relaxing. If you want to go for a walk, she’ll walk with you. She’s never been hyper. Not even as a puppy. She has a wonderful personality and is so very friendly. She only jumps up once in a great while, if she hasn’t seen you in a while. She is not fixed, and has had two litters. She just had a heat cycle. Demi might be fine with a make dog in the home but you may have to feed her separately. She does okay with my male and female Great Danes but bullies my female. I’m not sure if this will change once she is spayed. But I have always fed the dogs separately. Demi has a high prey drive and can not be in a home with cats or other small animals. Which is the reason I am rehoming her. She’s killed two cats, and a couple of chickens. I’ve been keeping her separate from my Savannah cats, but it puts her in a small area and she deserves better. The shelter said they’d euthanize her if I were to leave her there. (I only considered because they find their dogs new homes very fast, and she needs to go ASAP.) Demi is great with kids and very tolerant. She is fully potty trained 100%. She knows sit and paw but is very stubborn. Text for pictures and more Information
