Press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: April 1, 2022 Jefferson County, CO. – On March 31, 2022, Postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service, Chad Miller (DOB 032177) was arrested by the Cheezo Unit/Special Investigations Unit of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The investigation began in August of 2021, when Miller initiated communication with a member of the Cheezo Unit, believing that the investigator was a 13-year-old female. During that communication, Miller expressed that he wanted to have sex with the girl. Miller stopped communicating with the undercover investigator, never setting a date to meet. Jefferson County, CO. Between March 9 and March 30, 2022, Miller again initiated communication with an investigator from the Cheezo Unit, who was posing as a 13-year-old female. During the course of their internet communication, Miller disclosed that he was a postmaster. Miller continually engaged in detailed sexual communications with someone he believed was a juvenile. He also described the sexual acts he wanted to do to the girl. Miller asked for "live" pictures so that he could verify that the girl was real. Miller also directed the juvenile on how to masturbate and wanted her to send him videos.
