Here are the top five stories today in Boulder: City Council and County Comissioners set to meet about Library District. It's taken years, but Boulder City Council and the Boulder County Commissioners are set to decide whether or not to form a cohesive library district. If approved, it will end more than 100 years of municipal control and set the library up with a more stable funding mechanism. (CO Daily)Pedestrian found dead near Foothills parkway, driver arrested. After receiving a 911 call, Boulder Police arrived at the scene 4800 block of Pearl Street, just east of Foothills Parkway, where they found the woman with fatal injuries. (7News) Thieves targeting parked cars on CU campus. CU Police are searching for the thieves that stole rims and tires from a Subaru that was parked on the University of Colorado in parking lot 418. (CBS4)Latino group says CU president search is excluding Hispanic candidates. The Colorado Latino leadership Advocacy and Reseach Organization (CLLARO), claims that the hiring process CU is using has excluded qualified candidates, particularly Hispanic candidates from the search.
