Howard County Police Search For Missing 18-Year-Old

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — An 18-year-old man ran away overnight from his Columbia home who has "critical safety risks," according to family. The Howard County police are asking for the public's help in locating Malachi Rogers of Knighthood Lane. He was last seen on foot in the area of Merriweather Drive at Symphony Woods Road at approximately 1:40 a.m. Friday. Rogers has no known access to a cell phone or vehicle. Officers have checked with friends and visited areas he frequents, but have not been able to locate him. Rogers is described as 5' 9" and approximately 146 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information should call 911.
