A store employee reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered approached the counter, implied a gun, and demanded cash. The suspect then stole cash before fleeing. No one was injured. Through investigation, police identified the suspect as Matthew Parsons, 39, of Reynolds Street in Crofton, and charged him with armed robbery, assault and theft. He is being held in a neighboring jurisdiction.
