HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Thursday, Howard County has a total of 6,551 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 138 deaths. The state has 159,900 confirmed cases and 4,112 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 18,139 people have been hospitalized.
