Press release from the City of Austin: March 28, 2022 Case: 22-0730029Time: 12:26 a.m.Date: March 14, 2022Location: 5600 block of West Gate BlvdDeceased: Terry Ziegler Jr, White male, 08/06/1975 On March 14, 2022, at approximately 12:26 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to the 5600 block of West Gate Blvd for a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased at 2:11 a.m. on March 22, 2022. The vehicle left the scene heading southeast on West Gate Blvd. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian is described a Red Sedan sports car.
