Press release from the City of Austin: March 28, 2022 Case: 22-0801477Time: 11:07 p.m.Date: March 21, 2022Location: 3000 block of E Cesar ChavezDeceased: Unknown On March 21, 2022, at approximately 11:07 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian. Officers were able to determine the location of the crash to be in the 3000 block of E. Cesar Chavez. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver is cooperating in the ongoing investigation.
