After a two-year hiatus courtesy of COVID-19, the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival celebrated its return the only way it could: serving an excess of food and beverages.
Plenty of people filled the event, too, with 7,000-plus attendees and 150 participating chefs and beverage vendors. Five of the six events sold out.
One of the festival founders, Fort Worth restaurateur and chef Jon Bonnell, said he was "having a blast."
"We were able to do an abbreviated festival last year and it was great to do, but this is what we've all been waiting for. The smiles, the people, the crowds. It has been awesome," he said.
