Missing Blue Heeler/ Australian Cattle Dog

Our newly adopted blue heeler took off on Saturday afternoon with a bunch of dogs and did not return with them. He took of on the south side of old oasis road in the area of the creek. His previous owners were males and he is very scared of most people, especially women. His name is Dahlton but likely will not come when called. He is an unaltered male with a docked tail, about 1 year old and approximately 30 pounds. Hes wearing a large black collar with no identification. He's very sweet and not aggressive, just frightened. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We live out of state and had to return home but our friends in Redding can help facilitate his return.
