Description
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a crash on Sheep Davis Road on Saturday with multiple injuries.
Around 2 p.m., dispatch began receiving reports about a crash near Triangle Park Drive between two cars — a Honda Civic and a Saab. Police reported a man and woman with head injuries and an elderly woman with a back injury. Fire and rescue teams were requested, and upon arrival, the battalion chief asked for a second ambulance after confirming three potential patients.
The first arriving officers requested backup to close off traffic to the road between Pembroke Road and Triangle Park Drive. Firefighters cleaned up the crash scene while EMTs tended to the injuries.
The elderly woman and another woman, a passenger of one of the vehicles, were taken to Concord Hospital.
Police contained the scene of the accident for an extended period until they could confirm there were no serious bodily injuries resulting from the crash, police said.
Around 3:15 p.m., a tow truck arrived to remove one of the vehicles, but dispatch said they had not called for tows yet. Another officer stated they were still waiting for confirmation about the injury statuses at the hospital.
About 30 minutes later, police heard from the hospital that there were no serious bodily injuries and began to clear the crash scene.
