Joliet Home Invasion Leads To Class X Felony Charges For Harrison

JOLIET, IL — Willie Harrison Jr., a 45-year-old man from Chicago, is now in the Will County Jail after Joliet police arrested him last week in connection with a recent home invasion. The crime happened in the 200 block of Dwight Avenue. According to the criminal complaint, Harrison has been charged with two counts of home invasion, criminal trespass to a residence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, which was cocaine. The two home invasion charges are Class X felonies. According to Joliet police detectives, the crime happened on March 29. Harrison entered the house belonging to another man in Joliet, and he came armed with a gun, threatening to use it. On March 31, Harrison was booked into the Will County Jail two days after the home invasion. His bail remains at $250,000.
