JOLIET, IL — A 41-year-old Joliet man who lives in the 2300 block of Francine Avenue is now in the Will County Jail facing five counts of delivery of controlled substances. Samuel Black was arrested by Joliet police on March 29. His bail remains $100,000.
According to the criminal complaint, Black was involved in distributing and manufacturing cocaine on five different occasions dating back to last October.
The complaint indicates Black was involved in the delivery of cocaine on Oct. 7, 2021, Nov. 2, 2021 as well as this year on Jan. 24, March 9 and March 21.
According to the complaint, most of Black's cocaine deals involved 1 to 15 grams of cocaine.
Black's next court appearance is set for April 20 in Will County Courtroom 405 of Judge David Carlson.
