Press release from San Diego Community College District: March 23, 2022 The San Diego Community College District is offering eight-week courses at City, Mesa and Miramar College beginning April 4. While spring semester at the SDCCD began Jan. 31, students have the opportunity to enroll in a variety of courses and continue their educational goals. The district continues to provide financial aid and emergency grants to those who qualify. Earlier this semester, the district awarded over $13 million to students who qualify under the Federal Pell Grant and California College Promise Grant (CCPG) program to provide additional support to continue their studies. "At the San Diego Community College District, we strive to provide students with as many learning opportunities to help meet students' educational needs," SDCCD Chancellor Carlos O. Cortez said. "This is an important opportunity for students, especially for those who might not have been ready to enroll in classes at the start of the spring semester." The spring semester runs through May 28. See more Class Schedule Information. Face coverings will be required for everyone at indoor locations, and students will be required to be vaccinated before they can enroll in in-person classes.
