Prime Labor & Staffing currently has several openings for Custodian positions. These are Temporary Full-Time positions. Jobs can last approximately 3 months or more, but will not exceed 1,000 hours. Monday - Friday from 6am - 2:30pm(hours may change). Candidate must have previous custodial experience. Must preform full range of custodial duties related to the care, routine maintenance, and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; interacts with and provides basic information and assistance to City staff and the public; and preforms related work as required. This is experienced -level class that is responsible for preforming the full range of custodial duties required to ensure that City buildings and facilities provide the highest level of sanitation and safety for the public and staff use. Work duties include but are not limited to: Cleaning and sanitizing restroom facilities Sweeps, vacuum, mops, waxes, strips, and polishing floors Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles Replace and fix light fixtures, dusting and polishing furniture and equipment Maintains grounds around buildings; sweeps walkways, water plants and trees, clean building and facilities exterior Perform other job duties Must have knowledge of: Proper cleaning methods and the safe usage of cleaning materials, disinfectants, custodial tools, and equipment Use minor maintenance of hand and power tools and equipment used in custodial work Ability to: Must be able to bend, lift, twist, stoop, reach, and climb to preform work Must possess the ability to lift, carry push, and pull materials and objects up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment Candidate must have a CDL, clean DMV and previous custodial work experience to qualify for this position.
