I write and play some guitar, mostly rhythm, and I've written in most subgenres of rock. I'm old (73) but don't like playing classic rock although I know a few items from different decades of it. Some influences are Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Yard Birds, Social Distortion, Liz Pfair, Elmore James, Big Bill Broonzy, Joan Jett. Above all I'm a singer and a lyricist, I can sing Tom waits or Sarah Mclaughlin on octave. I have nearly 70 originals, my lyrics are a bit complicated because I have a tendency to not repeat lines, anyway I'd be happy to send a sample or audition live, I'm just new here and haven't had the time to get out there and do it.
