Description
Hired "an expert" to tile two areas in the kitchen. Specifically asked if he had experience with a Schluter tile edge.
"Of course" he said.
Brought his girlfriend who seemed to know a little more than he did. Took a three hour lunch, got high, and then cut 60 tiles too short. Paid for a day's work and promptly fired.
Ordered new - and not cheap - porcelain tile. Almost exactly 100 pieces left to install. One section is over existing penny tile. I'm not expecting perfection, but you'll need to clean up a bit of his mess before you start. This is a two partial day project. 1). Set tiles. 2) Grout.
I've hired a dozen people off of Craigslist for a complete home remodel to do a variety of jobs. Almost all have been decent-to-exceptional. Feel free to look at the pics and ask questions if you'd like. I could finish it myself, just running out of time. I pay cash.
I pay for supplies, you have tools. You should have your own tile wet saw. I will ask for pictures of your previous work. Space not available April 11-18, but flexible with dates outside of that.
