SeeScan has an opening for an experienced Sr. Electronic Technician to join our team. In this position, you will leverage your experience to troubleshoot and repair complex printed circuit boards that are used in our utility locating and plumbing diagnostic equipment. Desired skills and experience • Minimum 5 years of experience working on complex electronic assemblies. • AS in Electronics or equivalent experience. • Strong knowledge of basic electronics, digital and analog theory. • Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of complex circuitry to component level using bench-top test equipment and custom test systems. • Excellent solder rework skills, including fine pitch SMT components. • Proficient with soldering equipment including preheaters and various soldering systems. • Proficient with use of test and debug equipment including oscilloscopes, various meters, power supplies, component programming software and equipment, inspection equipment including high magnification microscopes and cameras. • Familiar with Document Control and CAD tools for viewing schematics, BOMs, ECOs etc. • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, balancing workload and priorities while insuring timely completion of projects on schedule. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to work independently with limited supervision. • Ability to work well with multiple functional groups.
