BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — On Thursday, business owners can tune in to a webinar exploring coronavirus pandemic-related impacts on county businesses. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski will host a panel of industry leaders and advocates, and provide an update on the state of Baltimore County's hospitality and tourism industry. They'll also offer insights as to how businesses can adapt. "These small businesses are integral in making Baltimore County's communities vibrant and diverse, and we remain dedicated to empowering their resilience and recovery during this challenging time," said Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski, who will share his perspective on local government's role in coronavirus business support and economic recovery. "Flipping the Script: Tools and Tips for Tourism Recovery" is the seventh session in the county's "Baltimore County Business Forum – COVID-19 and Beyond" webinar series. Samantha O'Neil, senior advisor to Baltimore County Executive Olszewski, will moderate this 60-minute session. Panelists include: Kevin Atticks, founder and CEO, Grow & FortifyMike Mason, principal, Providence Strategies, LLCGabe Purviance, Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences member and manager of special services, University of Maryland, College ParkMarshall Weston Jr., president and CEO, Restaurant Association of Maryland The webinar will be presented live via Cisco Webex on Thursday at 1 p.m. Webinar access information will be posted on the county website at baltimorecountybusiness.com.
