We are looking for clean cut, friendly, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude that want to be part of a successful and growing company. We are seeking a Carpenter Journeyman. RESPONSIBILITIES Directs, supervises, and inspects the work of journey-level and sub journey-level staff Plans carpentry projects and coordinates activities with operating units Determines work methods and types of materials required Orders and maintains a stock of materials and supplies and supervises the inventory of tools and equipment Ensures code requirements, safety regulations and safe work practices are observed Adheres to departmental policies and procedures Advises job estimates, labor and material requirements Regularly record and report project site data via timecards and materials lists Operates with little or no guidance- independently seeks solutions, locates appropriate regulations, applies proper procedures to carry out job requirements Maintains work records REQUIREMENTS Three years journey-level experience in carpentry work on buildings: journey-level experience is defined as possessing the required knowledge, skills, and training to perform a full range and diversity of work independently and reliably) Valid California Class C Driver License is an absolute MUST with a clean DMV report.
