Garner Roofing, Inc. is looking for a professional individual as an HVAC Repair Service Technician. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides exceptional customer service Educates the customer on the health and operation of the system post installation Analyze and perform directives on work orders Gather components, parts, and tools needed to complete the installation on new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Efficiently executes assigned HVAC Installations according to specifications Inspect and perform equipment repairs and/ or replace existing HVAC equipment Performs routine preventative maintenance Responds to emergency maintenance requests Operates a variety of tools to remove and install ducts, water heaters, furnaces, condensers and compressors Start-up and test new HVAC systems once installation is complete Ensures job-site cleanliness Adheres to safety policies and procedures Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records Exhibit professional conduct while on company premises, customer job site, or while operating company vehicle Complete all tasks in accordance with Infinite Energy Company’s quality and safety standards and honor our commitments to the customers QUALIFICATIONS Three (3+) years of HVAC experience in the same or similar role Strong understanding of HVAC operational principles and safety practices Knowledgeable in electrical and plumbing connections Proficient working knowledge with electrical control circuits, ladder diagrams, and troubleshooting Familiar with types of HVAC air duct systems Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, wall heaters, mini-split systems and commercial package units Ability to install HVAC systems to company standards and provide the customer with a First Class customer experience, while meeting or exceeding expectations Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate tight crawl spaces, and climb ladders in or around attics, garages and rooftops Ability to be a self-starter, follows directions, and practices good communication skills and is self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within given time constraints Has strong knowledge of all aspects of residential HVAC systems, including system installations and ductwork Must be detail oriented, have a mechanical aptitude and have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company Must be able to do moderate lifting (up to 100 pounds) Must be Drug /substance free.
