With over 30 years’ experience in residential roofing, and voted El Dorado County's best roofer, Garner Roofing, Inc. is expanding rapidly in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer Counties and surrounding areas and are seeking a Roofing Inspector. The primary responsibility of the Roofing Inspector is to conduct a physical roof inspection, assessing roof and gutter damage that may require maintenance, troubleshooting, service repair, or installation. This position requires going up on top the roof and taking measurements as well as pictures to accurately assess damage. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and complete residential roofing service and repair appointments with a focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer experience Investigate, mitigate and repair reported minor roof leaks or damage Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. Photograph and take measurements of roofing damages, on rooftops with various pitched surfaces Communicate directly with customers and provide great customer experience as you advise results of inspections Work closely with homeowners, helping them save money and reduce their environmental footprint by presenting solar and other energy efficient options available Make appropriate sales to customers to their applicable roofing, gutter, solar, HVAC and energy efficiency needs Assist with installs, inspections, and site surveys Operate smart devices and upload data into system Operate/maintain company service vehicle and equipment Complete work with high level professional quality Provide status updates to the office, as required and submit reports with photos Complete sales documents accurately and completely to ensure the company has all the information they need to create an effortless customer experience Ensure safety standards are followed and met QUALIFICATIONS 1 year of applicable roofing inspections experience 1 year of Sales experience Excellent customer service, communication, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills Ardent work ethic committed to honesty and quality Willingness to learn about new technologies and energy storage systems Ability to climb a ladder onto a roof, walk across a roof at various pitches, and inspect roof safely Work in outdoor conditions: inclement weather, hot, wet, cold Familiarity with all types of roofing, such as, tile, shingles, and metal work a plus Familiarity of hand and power tools (and ability to use them) Ability to think work independent Ability to upsell and transition leads into sales BENEFITS Health, vision, dental insurance benefits after 90 days of employment 6 major holidays paid Birthday and Veterans' Day paid off Up to 1 month paid vacation every year 401k match after 1 year of employment Cell phone reimbursement Company vehicle, laptop and iPad provided
