Description
Two male gerbils to be rehomed. We got the gerbils last June when they were young (don't worry, their male parts aren't disgustingly low like a fancy rat). They're handled often. One is gray and white and the other is all gray. We're a noisy household and they are VERY much used to noise, even the vacuum.
We ended up adopting a couple of cats, peace reigned for a while, but now the gerbils are looking like tasty treats for one of the cats. I don't want the kids waking up to something disturbing.
While they come with their tank, I have to point out that my kids pressed on the top screen and made some holes. I taped it up with black duct tape and it's holding fine (it can currently hold up the cat...).
They also come with:
A NiteAngel wheel (it's silent and great!)
No-drip Oxbow water feeder with holder
food tray
wooden “fence” and “bridges”
a high-sided bowl for sand-baths
-- (I don't have any sand)
their hideaway
a mini travel crate that I use to put them in while I clean their tank
the rest of their bedding, hay and food
We'll miss them, but they need a new home. Asking for a small rehoming fee for everything.
Gerbils are easy enough to take care of, but please at least read up on them before making a serious inquiry.
They L-O-V-E empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls!
