Manheim Farm is a 400 acre wholesale Vegetable farm located in Whately, Mass. We are looking for a Farm/Diesel mechanic. Typical responsibilities include routine maintenance on all equipment (tractors, implements, small to CDL trucks), keeping maintenance records, ordering parts, as well as diagnosing and fixing emergency break downs. Majority of work will be done in a shop however you must be willing to occasionally fix a breakdown in the field if necessary. Must have own tools. Typically 40+ hours a week, time and a half after 40. Bilingual is huge a plus. Valid drivers license is required, ability to obtain a CDL is plus. Minimum 1 year agriculture, operating, welding/fabricating, or mechanical background required.
