Full time Clerical/Administrative Support position (Care Team Associate) working Monday - Friday at Peninsula Therapy Center, PLC outpatient mental health office in Norfolk. The successful applicant must be able to work at least two late evenings a week until 8:30pm and must be able to work in our Norfolk Office. The selected candidate will be staffed in our Norfolk office on a weekly basis and must have available transportation to and from work. Must be able to handle a multiple-line telephone system, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suites and know how to operate a fax, copier, label printer, and credit card point of sale machine. Main duties include: checking in clients, answering phones and sending messages to the appropriate person, processing charges/payments, scheduling appointments for clients and clinicians and other duties designated by supervisor. Must also be able to communicate, take direction, and feedback well. After 90-day probationary period the job will be Full-Time with benefits including: Paid Leave: 80 hours personal Leave per year with an additional 20 hours per year each year (160 hrs. per yr. max.). Paid Holidays: New Years’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Employee’s Birthday. SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan: Dollar for dollar company match up to 3% of annual pay. Health Insurance is not available. JOB REQUIREMENTS Pass state and federal criminal background check with clean record prior to employment. Must maintain a clean record with no criminal convictions and free from probation for any criminal behavior during employment. This is a requirement for hiring and for continued employment with Peninsula Therapy Center, PLC (PTC, PLC). · Drug free and agree to maintain company drug free work environment policy. · Have an up to date resume. · References from actual verifiable supervisor must be available prior to employment and we must be able to contact them at work at a verifiable company address and phone number. · Ten years full time work experience and two years full time office experience doing similar work. Medical office experience required. · Type accurately @ 50 WPM. · Speak and write in Standard American English with proper English and grammar in all professional communication. · Get along well with others and be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced setting while multitasking. · Strong clear professional boundaries. · High School Diploma. · Reliable transportation. · Strong Communication skills.
