Santa Fe Skies RV Park is looking to hire an individual to run the front desk and check-in in customers. We would train whomever we hire, but willingness and the ability to learn is imperative.
The first and most important aspect of the job is to pleasantly greet customers, send them to their sites, and receive their payments.
We need an individual with the ability to use a computer, a credit card machine, and learn the reservation system, based on an Excel sheet. Basic computer skills are a must.
This individual will also need to learn a little bit about Santa Fe and environs in order to recommend local attractions—museums, restaurants, activities. In general, the individual must interact in a pleasant courteous way with customers and fellow employees.
There are a few additional tasks that an employee needs to be willing and able to perform once trained. These include:
1. Fill a propane tank for RV. We do not expect anyone to move the propane tanks just the hose. It is a little more complicated than filling the gas in a car, but very similar.
2. Sometimes an RV owner needs help hooking up to the site connections. This involves pointing out the sewer connection. This function is similar to hooking up a garden hose to a faucet and to also flip the breakers at the electrical pedestals.
3. The applicant must be able to walk around our RV Park or drive around in their own car if they I do not wish to walk, and perform a “site check.” This entails verifying which sites actually have the RV’s in them and which ones do not.
