No phone calls or solicitations, please. Martis Camp Club is a private 18-hole club located in Truckee, CA. The Roads and Landscape Ambassador is a key member of the Golf Course Maintenance team which provides exceptional conditions throughout not only the golf course but also community areas. They work under the supervision of the superintendent to perform a variety of tasks to help maintain our roads and community areas throughout the season. We enjoy what we do and have fun while doing it! $20.00 per hour - no experience needed: we will train! Seasonal fulltime 40+ hours per week. Normal hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. We can work with your specific schedule! Job Duties: • Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment. • Assists in upkeep of our roads and trail system. • Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, mowing and blowing. • Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material. • Involved with tasks related to course and community detail (weed, debris, and trash clean up). • Assists with upkeep of signage (staining, painting, install, and removal) • Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris. • Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning and plugging). • Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas. • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. • Help with the repair of our irrigation system and water features • Performs other duties as required.
