We have been in business since 1995 and are located in Monroe, WA. We are looking add a responsible, hardworking, ready to learn Mechanic Shop Assistant to our team. We specialize in Fuller, Spicer and Eaton Transmissions as well as Clark, Rockwell, Axletech, Meritor and Kessler Axles and Differentials. We support a local, domestic, and global customer base. Mechanic Shop Assistant / Apprentice Trainee Job Location: Monroe, WA Pay: Starting Wage of $20/Hr with opportunity to increase depending on experience Full Time: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM Medical & Dental Benefits Vacation, Holiday and PTO Duties - Assist in tear down of Fuller, Eaton, Rockwell, truck differentials and transmissions - Properly and safely operate equipment such as parts washer, table blaster, jib crane, and hydraulic press - Ensure shop/warehouse is clean in appearance including removing trash, mopping, and sweeping as required - Prepare orders for customer pickup or shipments - Successfully operate forklift and move pallets of goods - Other duties are assigned Qualifications - Must be over the age of 18 - Must have reliable transportation - Ability to lift or move equipment/materials weighing up to 80 pounds, with or without accommodation. - Must be able to stand on feet all day - Must have valid WA driver's license - Must be able to pass drug test - Must be able to pass background check - Clean driving record a plus! - Reliable & punctual Minimum Job Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: * Forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements. Our shop works on Fuller, Eaton, Rockwell, Truck Differentials and Transmissions.
