Figured I would give this a shot. Currently coming out of hiatus after not playing much (life gets in the way) and hoping to find some like minded folks to make music with. I don’t have a lot of expectations or delusions of grandeur. I work full time, have a family, and in my early 30s. Needless to say my schedule is full. However I feel confident in being able to dedicate 1-2 nights a week, would love to make records again and potentially get out and play some shows. My hope and goal really is to connect and be a creative part of a collective. That being said- I play guitar and bass as well as vocals. Happy playing either/or. I generally love all music, but gravitate to the stoner rock/doom/post-rock world. Also a lot of more experimental noise/drone/atmospheric stuff as well. Some influences- Isis Cult of Luna Sumac All Them Witches Pelican Melvins Yob This Will Destroy You Explosions in the Sky Sunn O))) Mogwai Cave In Neurosis Jesu Quicksand Nothing Cloakroom Torche/Floor Hopefully that gives an idea of where I’m at.
