Chinook Winds Casino Resort is looking for a full time HVAC Tech. Pay will be determined by experience. Responsible for installation and performance maintenance service and repairs on refrigeration, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Essential Functions • Performs preventive maintenance on all refrigeration and mechanical systems. • Maintains an extensive preventative maintenance program for all HVAC systems. • Prepares written documents (e.g., work orders, p.m. logs, equipment reports, etc.) • Diagnoses refrigeration and mechanical problems and takes appropriate actions to correct deficiencies, including performance repairs and interfacing with mechanical contractors. • Installs and replaces refrigeration and mechanical equipment as required. • Maintains tools, equipment, work site, and shop area for the purpose of ensuring safe operating conditions. • Maintains knowledge regarding safe and efficient use of a variety of mechanical diagnostics and equipment repairs. • Utilizes department apprentices to perform tasks and provide them with guidance and training. • Makes equipment upgrade and replacement recommendations to the Manager. • Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. • All other duties as assigned. Experience Three years related experience using HVAC equipment, test equipment, and other mechanical equipment. Must have completed a minimum two year apprenticeship in HVAC or two years of full time experience installing, altering, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining HVAC control systems and performing corrective and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Experience monitoring DDC control systems. Computer Skills Microsoft Office beginner level including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work will take place in a busy gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The environment is subject to smoke and the associated effects. May be subjected to scented air environment, which can affect chemically sensitive individuals. Working Conditions Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180 day introductory period.
