The Stowe Tennis Club is seeking personnel to service our clay courts and maintain our facilities, May 15 - Oct 15. Work includes operating utility cart to roll and sweep courts, moss and weed control, general upkeep, managing the irrigation system. Ideal candidates enjoy working outside, have an attention to detail, and are amenable to early mornings. Prior experience with maintenance equipment (golf carts, lawnmowers, leaf blowers) or prior experience with property maintenance is a plus. Flexible scheduling makes this job suitable as a second job or for the semi-retired. Part-time 15-25 hours per week, $18/hour or more based on experience. Shifts are typically 2 hours either early morning (6:30-8:30am) or evening (6:00-8:00pm). The Stowe Tennis Club was founded in 1972 and is a private, non-profit organization located at 1180 Barrows Road in Stowe Vermont. The nine clay tennis courts, swimming pool and clubhouse provide a friendly, social and community-oriented atmosphere. Weather-permitting from May through October, the club offers tennis and swimming lessons, tournaments, round robins, and a junior program to its 400- to 450-person membership.
