WATSONVILLE, CA — The city of Watsonville is asking residents to provide recommendations on how to eliminate traffic deaths and severe injuries on local roadways.
The recommendations are sought as part of the city's Vision Zero Action Plan 2019. Watsonville City Council approved Vision Zero at its January 16, 2018 meeting after the Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency introduced the plan.
Recommendations and feedback are welcome until December 20, 2019. After that deadline, the next steps include presenting the Vision Zero Action Plan to city council in January or February.
