Press release from the Pajaro Valley Unified School District: June 3, 2020 Watsonville, CA, June 3, 2020 – Over the last several weeks, a group of approximately 50 PVFT, CSEA and PVUSD administrators have been working on the PVUSD Contingency Plans for reopening of schools for the 2020-2021 school year. As Pajaro Valley Unified School District looks toward the reopening of schools for the Fall of 2020, they would like to hear from the community they serve. The first priority of the District's educational planning is the emotional, mental, and physical health of our students, families and staff. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michelle Rodriguez, notes that "It is vitally important for us to understand the perspective of those we serve to create contingency plans reflective of the needs and concerns of our students, staff and community." The District values and appreciates hearing from everyone. Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. The six-question survey will be open from June 3rd to June 8th.
