Read the entire post. Communication through email only until I feel you would be a good home and we're ready to schedule meeting her and her being picked up. You must meet with her and talk in person before I decide, but chances are if you get that far you'll be leaving with her. Harvest is a DNA Confirmed Female Pineapple Green Cheek Conure. She's very spoiled, very loved, and honestly my soul mate. I shouldn't be rehoming her but I'm sick all the time and about to have baby #2. She needs way more than I can give. That being said her new family will have to be perfect for her. Her ideal new family: Knows how to read conure body language / moods Feeds a proper diet Has time for her to play with, teach tricks, cuddle, and hang out Is educated on proper bird care AND knows of all the dangers to birds (no smoke, candles, Teflon, nonstick, crockpot bags, aluminum foil in the oven, self cleaning oven, harsh chemicals such as bleach) The dangers seem endless sometimes so I don't mind educating, but you have to be aware and already without those things in your household OR a bird safe room with an air purifier. (I have one if needed) Is willing to prove to me that you have a proper and safe home and you are knowledgeable. I will be picky. I'm not sure if she will take to others easily. She's a momma's girl and has been nippy with others. She needs a special person, or she'll just stay with me and I'll do my best (although I feel it's just not good enough) She comes with everything. The only food you'll need is to make chop (which she eats daily and won't go to a home that doesn't feed chop) I can include the mini food processor I use to make it. Cage, toys, natural perches, rope perches, 2 extra travel cages, stainless steel bowls, thick plastic bowls that I set on top the cage with food and water daily, play stand, t stand, few pounds of her high quality dry daily mix, clicker for clicker training, etc. There is a rehoming fee, it's very reasonable considering her mutation, breed, and accessories. She is DNA verified.
