Position Title Facilities Day Shift Job Schedule 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM Responsibilities: • Opening of building: disabling alarm, unlocking doors, turning on lights. • Cleaning and maintaining ground floor of Field House, Pool, and Wellness Center including: o Performs all care and cleaning functions of the facilities including but not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing using industrial type equipment. o Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. o Gathers and empties trash. o Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. o Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. o Cleans windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. o Dusts furniture, walls, machines, or equipment. • Uses hand/power tools to complete minor repairs. • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings, repair drywall, painting. • Moves furniture, equipment, or supplies. • Set up tables and chairs for meetings and events. • Operates grounds maintenance equipment. • Removes snow from sidewalks using snow shovels or spread deicers. • General clean-up of any and all incidents as they arise. • Other duties as assigned by Facility Manager(s).
