Local short term rental Airbnb company is looking to hire a part time handyman ASAP. The hours will vary but will increase in the future. Very limited hours to start on an as needed basis. The pay is $28/hour. Majority of properties are in Clairemont, Pacific Beach and North Park with some in Oceanside. Tasks will involve: -Completing minor repairs on the properties, touch ups of damages and maintaining properties are in good working order -Completing minor punch list items at various furnished properties around town. For example: installing new door knobs or locks, assembling furniture, unboxing supplies and furnishings, and helping with staging, moving and lifting. -Assist with management of the business as needed when issues or tasks arise. Perform inspections on properties after cleanings and guest checkouts Best for someone who has control of their time and can respond to issues quickly and efficiently. Need to be aware that stuff comes up at random hours of the day and we need somebody with a fast response time that can work on a moments notice including odd hours if needed. Need to have owns tools, means of transportation and work as independent contractor. Must be a hard worker and a team player.
