Job Description Maintenance Technician will be responsible for upkeep of the exterior and interior of multi-residential buildings located in Burbank. Responsibilities include but are not limited to resolving electrical, plumbing, and cosmetic repairs as needed. Assisting in groundwork when necessary, clearing and cleaning common areas and parking lots. Preparing vacant residential units during turnover, which may include but is not limited to painting units, installing, or repairing bathroom vanities, light fixtures, window screens, tiling, caulking, and minor drywall repairs. Must be flexible in job duties. Salary · $20 hour depending on experience Job Type · Full-Time, Monday-Friday must be willing to work weekends, hours will depend on current volume of unit turnovers as well as current projects. Qualifications · Must have a driver’s license and own a truck or van. · Must have one year of previous experience in building maintenance and have a working knowledge of all aspects of building repairs and maintenance. · Must know painting and drywall repairs. · Ability to work independently and be able to coordinate with vendors when necessary. · Strong attention to detail. · Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. · Must be able to identify and document preventive maintenance needs. · Ability to carry 40 lbs and climb a ladder. · Ability to speak Spanish is preferred. · Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
