Job Title: Driver Note: A CDL is preferred, but not needed to drive for us! We will train. If you can drive a large pick-up truck, then you can drive our trucks. Job Description: Delivery, pick up, and dumping of 6, 10, 14, and 20 yard roll off dumpsters for construction / household debris. Terms of Employment: Full Time Licensing/Certification: No CDL needed. Requires a current commercial DOT driver's medical card. See this video: Travel: Company truck is provided Qualifications: • Must be at least 25 years of age or older, with clean driving record • Professional attitude and appearance a must • Must be able to speak, read, and write English well enough to represent company in a professional manner, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position • Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferable • Must have good understanding of local area and neighborhoods *** On-boarding Requires Criminal History Background check; MVR record screening also performed Specific Skills: Operate and drive lift trucks to transport trash, tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo, utilize electronic trip planning aids, receive and relay information to central dispatcher, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness. Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, handle inquiries from customers, experience in construction industry is an asset. Preferred: Prefer candidates who have familiarity with smart-phones to receive & close work orders, and enter in landfill information.
