Join us for a seated, outdoor tasting and bottle sale of thirty of our favorite classic spring sippers made responsibly and sustainably! Nothing is better than the DC area in the spring. Flowers line every street, and the community steps out of their homes to take in every moment of the sunshine and perfectly temperate climate. We just couldn't let spring go by without coming together for a wine tasting and bottle sale event! This April, we're digging into our favorite topic in wine - sustainability. Wine gives us an opportunity to sample infinite facets of a community's culture from the comfort of our own home. With each glass of wine, we get a representation of a culture's agriculture, labor force, history, technological advancements, culinary traditions, and so much more. Our team at Planet Wine makes it a strict priority that every bottle we select to share in our store is sourced from makers and artisans who are serving the community in which they are representing. With sustainable agriculture, we can be secure in knowing that the wine was made with the environment and the members of the community in mind. These sustainable wines aren't all your Gen Z natural wines that can sometimes be flawed or unpredictable. We will be pouring a wide range of classic styles and truly fine wine from around the world made by small producers with great care and attention. We've done the heavy lifting of selecting responsibly sourced wines so you can sip guilt-free! As always, we're breaking this thing into 2 sessions (12-2 pm and 3-5 pm) to keep it all nice and cool, so please get your tickets now to secure your preferred time slot. The price is $35 per person and tickets are known to move quickly so please don't delay. You'll be rewarded with not only a fun-the-sun Saturday sipping cool wines with a crew of pros doing the pouring, but you'll enjoy some seriously nice pricing on all of the bottles - just for you & just for the day, so c'mon and let's get sipping! *If we experience poor weather, we will move our event inside the Number 9 Lounge.
