Alif coffee shop on a rainy day?

I have never had so much trouble finding a seat in a coffee shop in West Philly -- but today it was raining and everyone must have been eager to get inside over a warm cup of coffee, because I couldn't find anyplace to sit. But my reward was that I got to see this gorgeous woman: I stepped into Alif and it was full too but I locked eyes with her (with you?) and you smiled at me -- maybe at my plight, maybe just as one kind human being to another. I wished I'd asked if I could pull up a seat and join you, but I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. Just smiling at a guy doesn't mean you want to get to know him. Or did it? I am easy on the eyes and I have a kind face....... I don't know if anyone actually reads Craigslist missed connections - but if this was you, I'd love to hear from you. If it wasn't and you have your own missed connection story - we can commiserate over that, too!
