Hi, I just moved to the Astoria Park area and am looking to form a group influenced by bands like Unwound, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, GY!BE, Blonde Redhead, Can, Duster, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine, Radiohead, Mogwai, and Slint. I'm also into a bunch of other styles of music, so I'm not just limited to those aforementioned artists - I just feel putting them out there will make for a good start. I'm 28 years old, work full-time (M-F, 9-5), and play bass/guitar. I don't have any good recordings, but I have tons of song ideas I would love to share with like-minded individuals.
