WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek School District's governing board on Monday unanimously approved a reopening plan for transitional kindergarten through eighth-grade classes, according to officials. Reopening will take a phased approach by grade, beginning in mid-November for TK, followed by kindergarten on Nov. 30. First- through eighth-graders will return in January, said WCSD Superintendent Marie Morgan.
