Join us for a 2-day course TITLE: Immediate Loading with Implant Overdentures: A Surgical and Restorative Workshop COURSE DESCRIPTION: Dr. Ho-Young Chung is a leading authority on implant overdentures and devotes a large portion of his clinical practice to the surgical placement of dental implants and immediate loading of implant overdentures. This course provides a step-by-step approach for implant placement and immediate loading of overdenture restorations based upon an extensive surgical and restorative experience in clinical practice. The lecture and hands-on components will include the foundation knowledge, treatment planning, and practical skills and allow the participants to apply immediate overdenture therapy to their everyday GP and specialist practice. The goal of this course is for participants to confidently apply these skills to treat both the partially dentate and edentulous mandibular arches, however, the treatment of maxillary arches will be covered including the benefits and risks of treatment, case workup, and step-by-step clinical instruction. Acquire knowledge and confidence in surgical procedures including implant placement and soft-tissue management for implant overdentures 3. He has a referral-only practice in Kamloops, BC, Canada, and places 800+ implants per year. Dr. Chung teaches internationally on various topics including Immediate Anterior and Posterior Implant Therapy, Soft Tissue and Hard Tissue Augmentation, Suturing, Implant Complications, Sinus Augmentation, and Immediate Implant Overdentures. Dr. Chung has twice performed Live Implant Surgery at Pacific Dental Conference on the Main Stage. He is the Founder of CEJ Academy, an implant training facility that hosts live surgery hands-on courses on a variety of implant topics.
